My Story

8 serving Surrey/Sussex Police officers and 2 retired Surrey Police officer are heading to New York in May 2019 to complete 3 events raising as much money as they can for JACK.

This year we want to raise a further £5,000 between us all!

They will run a half marathon around central Park, follwed by a 5km the next morning and then as a team will pull a plane.

They have funded their own trip and are doing various activities running up to May, including selling home grown veg, chutney's and jams, organising a valentines ball and running tuck shops.

To find out why Molly,James, Jo, Del, Alan, Debbie, Jenny, Paula,Vanessa and Rachel are doing this please read on!

Joining Against Cancer in Kids, A charity inspired by the battle of Jack Brown, son of Met officers Richard and Yvonne Brown.

PC Mark Edwards began the Pack for Jack, Met officers running so he could have treatment in the USA not available to him here, to have a chance and to enjoy extra time, and inspire so many people.

Sadly Jack passed away, but we still run and his legacy was that Joining Against Cancer in Kids was born. JACK and the Pack are still fighting. We want to ensure that the treatments and research into this aggressive cancer are not just for the children whose families live abroad, or whose families can afford them.

We want the cure, and until then we want the best treatments to be available in the UK on the NHS for all families. With your help we can make that happen.

Please give what you can.
