My Story

On 16th May 2019, I am travelling with work to New York for a week to raise money for children living with cancer. Most people know somebody who have this in their lives, and it is especially difficult to see it affecting children. I am part of a team numbering around 100 who are running a half marathon around Central Park. The next day, I am taking part in a 5K memorial run with the NYPD near the site of the World Trade Centre. A couple days after that, I am pulling a plane across the tarmac at JFK airport (not on my own!) and trying to beat the time of other teams doing the same. The trip is organised with the help and support of the NYPD, British Airways and Jet Blue Airways. If you could spare some money to assist this very worthwhile cause, it would be greatly appreciated.
