My Story
On Sunday 26th April 2020 I will be running The London Marathon. In the process, I will be aiming to raise as much money for JACK! Joining Against Cancer in Kids was set up after six-year old Jack Brown passed away in 2009 following three years of treatment for Neuroblastoma.
Neuroblastoma affects around 100 children each year in the UK. Usually affecting children under the age of five, and can even occur before a child is born.
Neuroblastoma is the second most common tumour in childhood and makes up 8% of the total number of children's cancers.
But crucially, the cause is unknown. All monies raised assist the costs of sending children abroad to receive potentially life saving treatment and also to further research into this terrible disease.
